A Bit About Huajie Yuan

He was born in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China, and as a child he used to play with his cousins who studied art and who would take him to draw and play the piano with them. He studied art for about 6 years and piano for 3 years. He was introduced to acting when he entered high school when his high school put on a play and he was cast in a role, and from then on he found acting to be a lot of fun. He got to experience the different lives of different characters, and that was one of the things he was excited about. At first he was very vague about acting and becoming an actor, he didn't know what acting was. As he got older, he slowly began to explore the whole acting thing. To this day, he still considers himself only a beginner in acting and still needs to keep trying to explore and discover more possibilities.

He is currently studying BA (Hons) Acting and Performance at UCA and will graduate in 2023. During his time in the UK, he has been exposed to projects such as American Theatre, Social Realism and Shakespeare, through which he has been able to become proficient in the use of stage acting techniques; in his junior year training in Actin for Screen, he has mastered a range of practical screen acting methods. Combined with his previous acting experience, he is able to portray each role with confidence.
